On February 28, the 2024 Jiangsu Connected Vehicle and Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry Innovation & Development Conference was held in Changzhou. At the same time, the city hosted the second session of the “100 Events, 1,000 Enterprises” industry chain collaboration program.
Under the theme “Connected Vehicles, Intelligent Innovation in Longcheng”, industry experts, association representatives, leading enterprises, and seasoned investors gathered to focus on the new track of intelligent connected vehicles. As a global leader in L4-level autonomous driving, Rino.ai was invited to participate, joining efforts to promote the rapid growth of new technologies, new products, and new business models in the sector.
At the event, Jiangsu Province officially released its series of driverless equipment standards, with Rino.ai deeply involved as a contributing drafting unit. By helping advance industry standardization, Rino.ai aims to release sustained innovation momentum and leverage technology leadership to support the upgrading of the intelligent driving industry.
Rino.ai R3 Driverless Cargo Truck Steals the Spotlight
In the Intelligent Connected Vehicle Brand Exhibition Zone, Rino.ai showcased its R3 driverless cargo truck, which drew significant attention for its outstanding performance and innovative technology.
The R3 model has already achieved large-scale operation on urban public roads, primarily handling transportation between express delivery outlets and last-mile pickup stations. It effectively addresses operational and cost challenges in delivery areas located far from outlets, where multiple trips are often required.
Equipped with high-precision LiDAR, perception cameras, and other multi-sensor fusion systems, the R3 can maintain safe and stable fully unmanned driving even in rain, snow, fog, and other challenging weather conditions. It is capable of navigating traffic lights, narrow roads, and peak-hour urban traffic with ease.
Behind the hardware lies an equally powerful route planning and operations management system. Each Rino.ai driverless vehicle supports multi-stop route planning, enabling an express outlet manager to assign multiple waypoints via a mobile app, allowing one vehicle to deliver parcels to multiple stations in a single trip. This eliminates labor and management costs for hub-to-station connections, perfectly meeting the transfer needs in the logistics sector.
As logistics demand continues to grow both domestically and globally, driverless cargo trucks—with their efficiency, flexibility, and low cost—are set to play an increasingly vital role in the future logistics network.
Moving forward, Rino.ai will continue to focus on autonomous driving technology R&D and application innovation, constantly launching new models, products, and services. Through a technology investment + application innovation approach, the company aims to deeply integrate into the upstream and downstream of the autonomous driving industry chain, delivering a standardized + customized combination of solutions to meet diverse logistics delivery needs.
