Recently, the launch ceremony for Zhuhai’s first batch of intelligent, connected functional autonomous delivery vehicles was held at the Zhuhai Nongkong Agricultural Products Logistics Park. As one of the key companies awarded the first functional autonomous delivery vehicle licenses in Zhuhai, Rino.ai deployed its L4 autonomous delivery vehicles for real-world urban last-mile delivery operations.
This milestone not only marks a critical step in Rino.ai’s smart logistics deployment across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, but also injects strong momentum into Zhuhai’s intelligent connected vehicle industry, helping advance initiatives from policy implementation to practical application.

The launch ceremony was jointly organized by the People’s Government of Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai Transportation Bureau, and Zhuhai Investment Services Authority, aiming to implement Zhuhai’s open application scenario policies and regulations for intelligent connected vehicles, and to promote the deep integration of smart vehicle technology with urban logistics operations.
As a leader in the autonomous delivery sector, Rino.ai leveraged its mature technological capabilities and extensive operational experience to become a core participant in the deployment of Zhuhai’s first batch of autonomous delivery vehicles.
At the event, Rino.ai’s Head of Government Affairs, Yan Ming, detailed the company’s deployment plans and technological advantages in Zhuhai. He explained that, relying on Rino.ai’s full-stack in-house autonomous driving technology, the vehicles can achieve 360° environment perception with no blind spots and precise path planning, enabling normal on-road delivery operations during non-typhoon weather and outside restricted traffic periods, fully adapting to Zhuhai’s urban roads and logistics scenarios.

In terms of operational deployment, Rino.ai follows a “steady expansion, full coverage” approach. In the initial phase, three operational routes have been launched in Zhuhai High-Tech Zone, primarily handling last-mile shuttle deliveries for SF Express outlets, marking another milestone in its deep partnership with SF Express across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
According to Yan Ming, future expansion will align with Zhuhai’s road access policies, with plans to extend operations to over 45 routes and deploy more than 65 autonomous vehicles citywide, gradually achieving multi-scenario full coverage.
This deployment effectively addresses traditional logistics pain points. Previously, fresh produce deliveries from the Zhuhai Nongkong Agricultural Products Logistics Park relied heavily on human drivers operating during early morning hours, with tight time constraints and low efficiency. In contrast, Rino.ai autonomous delivery vehicles can dispatch flexibly and deliver in real time, automatically returning upon task completion to achieve fully unmanned, end-to-end automated operations, significantly enhancing delivery efficiency and convenience. This supports Zhuhai Nongkong Group in safeguarding the city’s “vegetable basket” and benefits local residents.

Zhuhai places a high priority on the development of the intelligent connected vehicle industry, having introduced multiple supportive policies, designated the first batch of open test and demonstration routes, and established a road access reciprocity mechanism with the other five cities in the “Golden Inner Bay” of the Greater Bay Area, creating a favorable environment for the large-scale operation of autonomous delivery vehicles.
