Shanghai, December 10 — On December 8, Shanghai International Automobile City Group and Rino.ai signed a cooperation agreement to jointly deploy 100 autonomous delivery vehicles in Shanghai’s Jiading District over the next three years.
Under the partnership, the two parties will collaborate to provide unmanned delivery capacity for supermarkets, convenience stores, and fresh produce retailers—bringing Jiading residents an enhanced delivery experience powered by autonomous technology.
Rino.ai has previously partnered with leading domestic retail chains such as Yonghui Superstores, RT-Mart, and the largest O2O pharmacy platform Dingdang Kuaiyao. The company has also established autonomous driving R&D and operations centers in both Beijing and Shanghai.
In September, Rino.ai and Yonghui Superstores launched a pilot program in Anting New Town, Jiading District, where autonomous delivery vehicles have already been put into service.
Looking ahead, Shanghai International Automobile City Group and Rino.ai will leverage Jiading District as a model hub—promoting the development of Shanghai’s intelligent connected vehicle industry and accelerating the productization and commercialization of autonomous driving technology.
